Build out the technology offering for older students, equipping them to be confident and competent in the use of the latest technologies in order to allow them to take their place in the world beyond school.
The Trustees were extremely grateful to receive a donation of laptops during the first Covid lockdown, enabling online learning to continue during the worst of the restrictions. These resources now need to be expanded upon and we are seeking to own or lease 40 laptops, including education-specific software and infrastructure to enable charging and storage. Ideally, we would employ or sub-contract a technician to manage these resources. We plan to deliver OCN levels 1 and 2 in the next academic year (2022/23) and in the future GCSE Music and GCSE ICT which will require increasing usage of technology.
What is the ask?
We are inviting individuals and businesses to donate funds to enable the purchase or lease of 40 high-quality laptops and associated equipment. We are also interested in hearing from businesses that may wish to make this purchase on our behalf.
